Condensation on inside of windows

I searched for this topic on here but didn't find anything. My apologies if it has been addressed before. Does anybody have a problem with condensation forming on their inside windows during winter? I've done some searching online but found conflicting information about why it happens and how to com...

I looked at a house earlier this year that had a mustard door--it looked great! Sorry, I don't know a paint color name to give you though. I'm actually having a similar problem with painting my living room. Want a light grey but they end up looking blueish, purpleish, greenish, or browninsh. I just ...

imo=in my opinion. Just saying what I think.

I don't think yours look cheap at all, in fact, I think those in the link look better than mine. I prefer the wood look to color. I was saying that I don't like matte color cabinets. Just my opinion.

I don't think white or wood cabinets would be too much. Here's a picture of the ones in my place: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3530/3884585278_9a9e2c702b.jpg I'm glad they chose flat fronts and a high gloss. I think cabinets that are not wood/wood veneer on the fronts look really bad if the color ...

Joe-- Thanks--that's interesting to see. I have a badly copied paper of that so it wasn't very easy to see the furniture. I'm liking the idea of two chairs and a small round table there. My boyfriend really wants a chaise lounge...not sure who will win. Re-Modern-- Thanks! Yeah, I'm glad there are s...

It's sad that the conservation district will probably not pass.

Thanks! Haha--yeah, I wasn't expecting pie. Maybe if I lived there in the 50s... I'm kind of at a loss of how to furnish the end of the living room that has the windows. The TV will go on the other end (thank goodness tvs have gotten much thinner/lighter) so I want the window end to be a loungey/con...

I really hope the neighborhood has a comeback.

Our "New" Cliff May House in Dallas

The appraisal went well (15k over the selling price!) so I'm not too worried about jinxing it now. We close in mid September. Here's the odd thing--I lived in it before w/ an ex back in 2004! We didn't live there long since I moved to Japan for a job and he moved out of state. I even exhanged an ema...

Did you find anything good?

I've been to Collage Classics, some place a couple of doors down from it (can't remember the name), and Century Modern but haven't found anything that I'm looking for yet.

I'd appreciate any other suggestions!

What's up (no pun intended) with your avatar Vanessa? What's that all about? I found that sign when I was riding my bicycle down a small street in Kyoto. It's for a mom and pop restaurant. Side note--it's hard to find 7-Up/Dr. Pepper sodas in Japan. P.S. Here's the full size picture if you'd like t...

Cliff May houses in Dallas have hardwood floors...but those houses were built in the mid 50s. I don't know much about hardwood floors so I can't tell you what kind they are. Here are some pictures though: http://www.trulia.com/homes/Texas/Dallas/sold/502233-2614-Andrea-Ln-Dallas-TX-75228 (temporaril...

Wow, that is expensive. I bet everything got thrown in the dumpster when they made way for the McMansions. |:( I was out of the country from 2005-2008 and was shocked when I came back. I'll be posting pictures soon! Thankfully, there's not much to do to the house other than paint and a few minor rep...

Hello, my name is Vanessa. I've been reading these boards on and off since 2005 and finally registered. Closing on a Cliff May soon so figured it was time!
